About Dawn

I'm a decorating junkie. I have stacks of decorating magazines on my coffee table, I wrestle my husband for the latest issue of Fine Home Building, and only keep cable so I can watch marathon Sundays of HGTV.

  1. I have tried several times to fill in the above form but it won’t take it. It said something about site maintenance?? Maybe it’s me?? I’m trying to get your ebook and ask your opinion on an exterior job I have coming up…
I have an old farm home (Victorian??) that will be turned into a retail store (home decor, etc.). The client wants “eye-catching” exterior colors while maintaing the charm of the style. It is in a somewhat rural community on a busy highway. Any thoughts?

Should I try again later for the e-book?

    Thanks,

    Peggy :)

    • Thanks for the note. I had someone else tell me that but when I test the link and form it’s fine. I’m not sure what is going on! If your client’s house is a Victorian, the sky is the limit with color choices and combinations. I’d dig deep into finding out what colors your client really likes then find complementary colors. Most Victorians are painted with three or four colors. Maybe Google Painted Lady Victorians to find inspiration. And post a picture on my Facebook page when it’s done!

      Thanks, Dawn
