The former living room was dark and bare bones, with cast off furnishings from their younger years. Despite my client’s initial concerns with the color choices, we made the room more personal and welcoming with a bold navy blue accent over the fireplace (Benjamin Moore Hale Navy HC-154) and a warm gold on the rest of the walls (Benjamin Moore Oat Straw AF-340), we created a relaxing retreat for her family to hang out together.

We purchased the over-sized nautical charts and had them custom framed, which helps to bring down the sky-high ceilings. We are still on the lookout for the perfect accents over the flat screen TV.
